City Clash Championship - Southaven HEAT !!

Before you read this, I am solely bragging on both of my boys for their excellent achievements this weekend. Of course, I am the father and we are talking my boys and sports, so you know I have to brag.........

While Garrett did not play in a tournament this weekend, he did have a game of a lifetime Saturday morning and unfortunetly, I was not there to see it. Blake was playing at the same time so Amy went with Garrett and I went with Blake. Garrett got to bat 6 times during his game and hit a double, 3 homeruns, and 2 grand-slams.

For those of you who may not know, Blake's team Southaven Heat played in this years City Clash tournament. Blake plays short stop and clean up batter for Southaven Heat 5 and 6 year old division. Southaven Heat had a very strong tournament and brought home the championship on Mother's Day. The tournament was held at the Olive Branch fields with games beginning Friday and ending on Sunday. Below are pics of him and his trophy and then the team pic...

Mother's Day is around the corner

As most of you know, or should I say need to know Mother's Day is this Sunday. For Amy it will be basking in the sun (or rain) watching baseball games all day, but for other more fortunate Mothers, they will probably be going to a nice place to eat, receiving roses, and what ever else floats the woman's fancy.

However, just getting to the point, Marshel and I thought it would be a great idea for us to get together and take a nice portrait for our mom to hang on the wall. You know one of those boys to Men pictures..... Well, unfortunetly things did not work out for us, so Mom I just want you to know this video would have been what it would be like if Marshel and I were to get together for that Boys to men pose.

The real question is, can you figure out which one I am while watching the video ??

Happy Mother's Day and thank all of you moms for making every day a special day for us.
